Love messing about in boats. And many years covering the America’s Cup and as Yachting Editor for Boating New Zealand honed that appreciation. Sailing has a special quality, for me. This dance with the elements from a zephyr breeze and that exquisite moment when the boat breaks the water surface tension and a line of bubbles travel along the hull, to a full blast with the sails and rigging straining – exhilarating.
